Christmas  is coming and we are getting the shop ready, we are running small projects for Christmas on Thursday afternoon from 12.30 to 2.30pm we have a range of new gift ware as well.  Included are some new Christmas Bears.

New Bears

So sorry its been a while, we have been so busy creating new things and entering contests.  Please meet Russell Scare Crow,  he was a challenge on the Guild of Master bear makers,  I had so much fun and I have discovered I just love making theme bears.  We will be at the Treasured Creation Craft show in November and then have one more event before Christmas..  At the shop we are trying to get more artist made gift ware in for Christmas too.

Here our newest little Bear Mason hope you like him,  we are currently working on a website for the bears to go and live as people are finding it hard to see them on the Cottonwool site.  Hopefully it will be launched next week www.cooperbears.com  thank you so much for your support.

Hi all our latest little creation is an angel called Angelica, hope you like her,  next weekend I am off to do a workshop with Linda Benson, so excited to learn new techniques from a master.

So many events going on at this end of the year, there is another on line show and in November we will attend the Treasured creations craft fair at Claremont, that has 3 in one show including some amazing vintage clothing and treasure.  December 1st there is another fair at the Church in Byford we will attend, more on that later.  So we are busy busy busy sewing bears for all the events.  Here is our latest little creation Toffee.

We are also floating an idea about having a sewing day one sunday that we will announce more on soon.

Well things at the shop have been busy so it has been hard to get to the bears lately.  I have managed a couple though  Noah and Lacey Leigh.  We are starting work on our Christmas Bears now so keep your eyes peeled if your a fan of the festive season and we have decided to go to the Treasured Creations Craft Fair in November.  We went for a visit and really enjoyed the vintage section.

Well Life is getting super exciting in the bear world, we are busy getting ready for the fair in August and today we were featured in the on line magazine Bears and Buds.  We have a few new bears coming and hope to release a new pattern at the fair for our baby dragon and our lovely old style doll Penny Lane.

Hi all its been a busy few weeks, and the weather has been dangerous, but I have managed to make a couple of new bears and here they are the top little guy is called Angus he is made with Mohair and the bottom one is made with Alpaca his name is Toby.

Well life is certainly getting interesting, we have had a lot of our bears sell and it has caused much excitment at the shop and at home.  We just finished our new little bear Max hope you like  him.   We are also involve with an online show called Bearsonalities.  the date is June9th and 10th and there is a peoples choice award too, so feel free to drop in and check out the show.

So excited we have been concentrating all our efforts on building Cottonwool Creations web site.  It is coming along really well. and thanks to the wonderful work of Leanne from Saw Dust Art and brilliant advice of Helen Gleeson and Easy Art Space, this bear I only finished yesterday sold in 5 mins.

I have just been introduced to the most amazing artist.  Leanne from Saw Dust Art is a very talented lady that works in wood.  I have used one of her butterfly's as a companion for my latest bear Hudson.  I am thrilled with Leanne's work and can't wait to see what else she comes up with, she has already made me some wonderful bear labels.
